Free browser tools
Free 3D file tools.
Open a 3D model and see it, make it lighter, or turn it into the format you need. Everything happens in your browser: your file never leaves your device, and there is nothing to sign up for.

Convert to GLB
- FBX to GLBTurn an FBX, Mixamo characters included, into one GLB with its skeleton, animations and textures, converted to metres.Open the tool
- Mixamo to GLBMerge a Mixamo character and its animation FBX files into one GLB, each clip named after its file, root motion kept.Open the tool
- OBJ to GLBTurn an OBJ with its .mtl materials and textures into one GLB, with any missing file named.Open the tool
- STL to GLBTurn a binary or ASCII STL into a GLB for web viewers, AR and game engines: Z up to Y up, millimetres to metres.Open the tool
- glTF to GLBPack a .gltf with its .bin and textures into one GLB, or split a GLB into glTF files, without re-encoding anything.Open the tool

How they work
- Every tool opens the same formats and shows the model in 3D first, with a report of its triangles, textures, animations and size, so you can check it before and after.
- The work runs in a background worker in your browser tab. FBX, OBJ and STL are read by Babylon.js's own loaders and written as glTF 2.0; compression uses meshoptimizer, Draco and WebP.
- What you download is standard glTF 2.0 (or STL and OBJ), for Babylon.js, three.js, Blender, game engines and slicers.
No model yet? Almighty turns a sentence or a photo into a textured 3D model in the studio.
Questions
- Are the tools free?
- Yes, with no account and no limit on how many files you open. They run on your own device, so there is nothing for us to meter.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Each tool reads your file in this browser tab and does its work in a background worker on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or stored, and closing the tab releases the file.
- Which files can they open?
- GLB and glTF (select the .gltf with its .bin and textures, or drop the whole folder), FBX, OBJ with its .mtl and textures, and binary or ASCII STL, up to 150 MB, or a .zip holding any of them (a Sketchfab or asset-store download opens as it is). GLBs that use Draco or meshopt compression and WebP textures open too. Every tool opens every one of these formats: the pages differ in what they lead with.
- What do I need?
- A browser with WebGL, which every current desktop and phone browser has. Very large models can exceed a phone's memory; a computer handles them better.
